Michelle gives studio visits at her San Francisco and Petaluma studios upon request. She accepts inquiries from art dealers interested in representing her, curators seeking to include her in exhibitions or evaluating artists for public commissions, and art collectors who are working with one of her galleries to acquire an artwork. ✣ How can I place a private commission?

 

I wish I had time to offer private commissions. However at this time, my focus is on professional teaching of art and ceramics as well as making sculptures, paintings and drawings for exhibitions. To acquire a piece in a current or past show, you can inquire about available works with one of my gallerists listed above.

✣ Are you accepting proposals for gallery representation?

 

My work is available in galleries throughout the Western U.S.A. I accept inquiries for representation in other parts of the country and internationally. You are welcome to submit an inquiry in the form above, so that we can explore representation.

✣ Do you work directly with museum curators on exhibitions and purchases or commissions?

 

I sure do. You are welcome to visit me in person or virtually at my studio to discuss an opportunity. I am selective about public art projects, mostly based on available time. Please reach out to me with your project, so that we can chat about possibilities.

✣ How can I learn ceramic sculpture from you?

 

You can register for my art, design, ceramic and sculpture courses at San Jose City College where I am a tenured Professor of Art. When on academic breaks, I offer in person and virtual workshops through national and international university art programs, ceramic art centers and conferences, galleries and at fellow ceramic artist studios. I appreciate your desire to expand your knowledge about my art practice. John Natsoulas Press has published a 200-page monograph details of my life and career.
